Subject: Re: Any radio ham in the list ? 73'

I've had radios in all my SAAB's over the years. I have a 96 9000 Aero now with 2 antennas on the back. I went with gutter mounts on either side of the hatch back. My last car was a 90 9000CD. I drilled 2 holes in the trunk and it worked very well. Right now I'm running an Icom 2800 for 144/440 and a scanner. A friend made a mount that fits where the trailer hitch would go so I can put a whip for the Icom 706. I remote the 2800 and 706. Run 2 hot wires from the battery all the way back it works great!
