Subject: Re: 96 900SE Turbo : Leak in Hatchback

Thanks in : advance for any help. : : Has anybody had a problem with water leaking into their hatchback? I : have quite a bit coming from (I think) the very rear of the hatch, : just inside the car from the rear bumper. Under the carpet, there : seems to be some sort of plastic/rubber hatch liner that can be pulled : up just a bit, reveling plenty of water seepage, but no apparent : source of the leak. I've had this problem before. There are a couple of round rubber spacers that screw into the hatch door that are designed to fix rattling problems. I screwed these in a little further than they were and this fixed the leaking. One trick to determine for certain where the leak is coming from is to climb in the hatch and have someone spray it with a hose from the outside. -- agreenbu Return to Main Index
