(That's 12.8 Imperial gallons.) But remember that your fuel efficiency will vary from one fillup to the next, so I wouldn't go farther than about 300 miles (about 484 kilometers or 280 Whitworth miles). I had a 1986 900T with this problem. Once, the attendant didn't fill my tank all the way up, although I had asked him to. (I live where self-serve gas is illegal.) I had no way of knowing, since my gauge didn't work. I ran out of gas on the road. That's one reason you shouldn't push your luck. Also, sometimes, my resettable odometer would stick, and when it did, the master odometer would stick! So I'd be driving down the road with no advancement on either odometer! One tip I learned is that in a Saab, never reset the odometer while the car is in motion. -- Tom Reingold Noo Joizy
