Maybe what they were referring to (these things sometimes do have a grain of truth) is the storage of the green tires, before they're vulcanized. In that state, the'll be more of a play-dough consistancy than like a tire. Once the stuff is vulcanized, I can't see the rubber flowing, *at all*. I'm willing to be proven wrong, of course, but it just doesn't fit what I know about the material after it's vulcanized. (vulcanised, for you Andy). Dave Hinz
