The trip computer, clock, outside temperature display ("Electronic Display Unit?) in my 98 9000CSE no longer properly changes intensity. It spends most of its time in a dim mode which is OK at night but virtually invisable in bright daylight. Sometimes if I shine an intense light on the sensor it will respond but not for long. Has anyone had any experience in correcting this condition short of replacing the whole unit? Any comments would be appreciated. R. Frist
