As of now I have the following theory: The car was bought in Arizona, and probably delivered with transmission oil for warm weather. It is not supposed to be changed before 65k service. Mine has only 52k. So, the garage has only checked the level, not the type, and it gets to syruplike here in the cold weather.... Does it sound reasonable?
