Subject: Re: 89 9000T blown head gasket

When mine went on my '90 9000T it cost me about $1300 to get it fixed, my mechanic suggested that I get the head checked and planed since if it was warped taking it apart again would be expensive versus the $100 to get it checked/planed. If you don't want to spend that kind of cash, I'll put in a plug for my 90 9000T that's for sale right now since I just got a 99 9-5 to replace it. The car only has 86K on it and is in pretty decent shape. Runs great, has a new DI cassette, battery and I did the brakes and replaced to rotors last spring. Neesds a rear muffler. Send me mail at wjacksonnopsamesterdotrr.com (take out the "dot") if you're interested (I live in upstate NY FYI) "dj73" <dlnqnt73nopsamo.com> wrote in message news:9cbe4c40.0212261556.ccaf6e0nopsaming.google.com... > I have been reading through the posts and it seems like blown head > gaskets on Saab's are fairly common.
