I have a 97 Conv. The roughness on less than smooth roads is normal and is due to the lack of chassis stiffness in a convertible. I went to Futura 55s and the ride is better for a lot less bucks than Pilots, which imho are overkill. Check the steering gear and tie rods for damage, also the inner edge of your rims, thy deform easily if hit curbs or potholes. John
