But the questions are: How do you use the car? What is the condition? how long do you intend to keep it? Does it consume oil? I think that Mobil 1 is a bit over the top for this car, but then it depends on the local price. I use a good store brand fully synt in my Saab 9000, but my official Saab dealer garage uses semi synt. So there is already an argument. I prefer 5k mile oil changes by a the store brand synt rather less frequent change of Mobil 1. > 2. Filter. - What's the best. Oil will get there anyway, but there is an old trick of smearing the seal with the oil to prevent it seizing up at the next filter change. Just use a brand name filter or use Saab's. Johannes
