What I want to know is, why are you looking to fix it. Two choices here I suggest. One he fixes it at no charge, until you are satisfied with both the repair and the operation of the brakes. Two, he books the car into the nearest Saab dealer or non Saab local Saab specialist, and pays for the repair. Don't settle for fixing a bodge that you've paid for. Don't get into crap about compensation and damages, but get the job done right, that you have paid for. Using a torch is quite normal for seized bolts and nipples and stuff, but if you are concerned that he has either damaged the seals or any flexi pipe work near it, insist that that is investigated and rectified by him (or the dealer he pays for) too. -- Carl Robson http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
