Andy Probably not a pressure relief valve; the fuel pump shouldn't be able to produce enough pressure to split the lines even if the valve fails. Obviously you won't be driving it like that... Sounded like an air leak from here, too. Ah well... couldn't smell the petrol fumes from this side of the pond. Dave
