How you would actually fit such a device to a Saab engine is beyond me.... Well.... SAAB two stroke technology has not been standing still... the later engines were oil injected so it looks like SAAB engineers were smarter than you are... :-) If you use the modern smokeless two stroke oils, e.g. as used in snow mobiles, the pre mix ratio is about 1:40, contrary to the 1:25 in the old days. > .... Maybe not by SAAB but there are aftermarket racing exhausts for stroker SAABs that use this priciple. This is a company that may have it http://www.motorsportsweden.com/indux.htm > My advice: Buy the old Saab oil burner, but plan on not putting a lot > of miles on in it, for the sake of those around you. That is correct. Since you will only use the stroker SAAB on sunny Sunday afternoons the total emitted load in absolute numbers on a yearly basis will be less than any modern car. > ...plan on not putting a lot of miles on in it, for the sake of those around you. > 2001 Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon > 2000 Audi A4 quattro 1.8T > 1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4 Since you seem to be so concerned, I asume your cars are all running on LPG ? ------------------------------------------- MH '72 97 '77 96 '78 95 '79 96 http://go.to/saab96
