Try reading the novels to her while she is asleep and make subliminal remarks each time the Saab is mentioned in a heroic manner :) > But she has agreed, in a maybe a couple of months if the money is > better, I can start looking. Wee heeeee, you'll be a Saaber yet, eh? If money is tight, you really can't go wrong with an early to mid '80s 900i (as discussed). £500 will buy you a good one. Mine (Inga) was £285. You could try crashing your Skoda, or her car (whatever it is) in the snow and then say that it wouldn't have happened in a Saab and now you'll have to buy one. Did you get the snow last night over your side of the Pennines? We got just short of one foot up my way and it took about an hour to get the damn stuff off the car this morning. Grrrr. I drove home tonight over snow and ice and felt solid as a rock in the old Slaab. Today was actually one of the best days that it has run for a while. It must be feeling in it's element :) 'nite all Paul 1985 900i 16V 1989 900 Turbo S http://pjgh.go.dyndns.org/saab/index.html
