Why the aversion against proper winter tyres/tires? The wear on the winter tyres/tires are saved on the summer tyres/tires, so in the end it is only a second set of rims that matters costwise. The safety benefits with proper winter tyres/tires is worth much more than that. Why buy one of the safest cars (a Saab) and then act like a fool by driving around on inferior "all season" tyres/tires? -- G–ran Larsson http://www.nospam.com
