Actually, the RWD BMW has ASC+T (automatic stability and traction control)
as does the SAAB (TCS).  The BMW is not at all difficult to get around in
when it does snow, and that's with the all season tires.  I'd imagine it
would really go well in the deep stuff if it had snow tires...  but I'd
prefer to not get that much road salt on the body so it might last a few
more years.
