thanks for the reply ... interesting as your car seems to be the same age (1996) and model (well mine is a cd vs your cs) so I guess the alarm system is the same ... thanks for the tip with "4" - I shall watch out for it in "3" yes I do see the leds flash ... just sometimes the car doesn't respond ... maybe I should do what you suggest in "2" with my main transmitter I hadn't tried what you say in "2" ... not sure I understand... would this work with any transmitter .... if it did wouldn't you be able to open my car with yours etc? ... (note the transmitter on my spare set did not come with the car ... when I bought the car I only got 1 set of keys ... I got another set cut and got the transmitter from a scrap yard Saab (900 I seem to remember)... its a working transmitter ... but not for my car (yet?) thanks andy ...
