Hi Big Disk (Ollisbrown), Brake pads every 9K ?!?!?!?! I can already imagine your driving style. Gas-floor, Brake, Burn tyres, Brake, Full speed, Brake, Smoke ... I drove 360 000 km in my 9000 and 300 000 of this on German motoraways i.e. at speeds between 150 and 200 km/h. Yet I have never managed to wear the pads faster than in 30 - 40 000 km. And... by the way, my saab has automatic transmission. With these the pads wear out much faster. What am I complaining about? That I went through 6 pairs of brake discs and just as many wheel bearings (bloody expensive) and all that because the brake claws were slant. And this is just one of many headaches I had with my saab. You know what? You can have my cake and eat it and keep yours.
