I just bought my first Saab, a 93' 9000 cds and have noticed a problem with the heating. It only seems to work when the fan switch is in position 4. Obviously it would be nice to have more of a choice than no heating at all or blast furnace! Rather worringly I also noticed a para in the handbook which states that position 4 should NOT be used to heat the cabin and is only for maximum cooling in very hot weather. I would be grateful for any pointers in rectifing this problem and likely costs involved. PS Also noticed heating for drivers seat not working but passenger seat fine. Other than having my better half dring during extreme cold weather is this likely to be a simple/cheap repair? Regards Doug
