Sounds like the resister fuse has blown. Suspect a worn blower motor as a likely cause of the fuse going. Not sure on where the resister is on this unit. Do have experience changing blower motor on 9000 though. Best left to someone with some experience in changing these or very good directions. Resister is in circuit to regulate the fan speeds 1,2, and 3. No resister needed for high speed. That is why you have the condition you have. If motor is going bad the resistance value goes up/draws more current and takes out the fuse.
