As a UK/European perhaps you can answer this... are the higher prices you pay due to taxes, or due to the oil companies just ripping you off ? Some folks claim that we pay lower prices in the USA since we have some oil here, but I find it really hard to believe that it makes *that much* difference since barrel prices are for the most part set internationally.
