I don't know where you're located but a 9000 2.3L head should very well be avaiable. The problem could be to find the 2.1L inletmanifold. You can deffinately get one from Sweden (from a scrap-yeard). :: Should the head be from a turbo engine or are there differences :: between NA head and turbo head? Valves? Camsaft? The head should be from a NA. The camshafts have a better opening, therefore the better breathing. The valves are the same. :: And what about the camsaft cover, do I need to use one from the :: 2.3L. There might be trobles in yearly inspections whith the cover :: stating 2.3L. The covers are interchangeable. I drive a 9000 2.3L NA and my original camshaftcover had two small cracks - oil was sieping(spelling?). The mec. didn't have anything but an ol' 900 cover, which fits and works perfectly. Byt as elsewhere mentioned: Get a better Intercooler and move ahead of the radiator. Besides that: Upgrade your fuelchip and your APC-box. I used to drive an '85 900 T16, which I got to produce around 210 - 215 Bhp. Cheers! Cheers!
