Got up this morning and went out to start the car to warm up. It was -42 C here today so the car had trouble turning over. When i did finally get it running it started making a high pitch sound like a belt slipping, but from the side of the engine where the oil filter was. Then the oil filter inflated and poped letting all my beautifull black gold run to the ground. Unfortunatly i wasnt fast enough to turn the car off before this happened. This seems to happen when ever it drops bellow -20 C. I have replaced the oil presure regulator and gone with a high end oil filter. Any idea's what i can do? I don't have a block heater.... Thanks in advance for your idea's Matt
