Subject: Re: 9-3 Turbo - 185 or 205 hp?

The difference is, apart from the obvious power /torque difference is the 185BHP is the 'high pressure' variant of the 150BHP LPT engine and that the 205BHP is the HOT (High Output Turbo) variation, this was only fitted to the Aero model. Way's to tell 'em apart - The 150 - No boost gauge, 185 boost gauge, 205 would be in the Aero only (With the fantastic Viggen seats) I think this is generally correct. Also in the 1999/2000 MY The Viggen was the performance model, with a 225/230 BHP engine. From MY 2001, the Viggen was no longer sold (In the UK) and the Aero (205BHP) became the performance model (But retained the excellent seats, but not the brakes, unfortunately) Hope this helps Rich In article <ceqt3v0fj4ebcmc8vielc8bk5us45gp7nvnopsamcom>, Remmer <nomailnopsamse.nl> writes > >Hi group, > >I'm in the market for a 9-3 Turbo Coupe.
