This is a long shot but worth a try. My sister in law had a Saab 9000 and was suffering terrible electrical problems. In the end I found the cigarette lighter socket to have a small piece of metal in it which was shorting it all out. Once removed loads of things came back to life: Rear wiper Windows Interior light To name but a few.... Good luck.
