Simon got it right - good advice if you're racing in a Saab turbo - too much revs before dropping the clutch can be disastrous. I've only ever burnt one clutch, and it was in my 87' 9000 T. revved it wayy too much (4000rpm) and dropped it, the turbo kicked in as the clutch engaged and all I smelt was burning clutch plate As for bmws tryna smoke u... well you'll have to live with it. a 97 saab cabrio is not especially fast. 0-60 in 15 seconds? maybe if you're flooring it in 5th! buy a faster car ;o)
