Hello Malcolm, Sounds like you have light bulbs that have burnt out. I have had to replace them in both my 89 9000's, they take two halogen bulbs that have to be bought with the socket from Saab, expensive for a small bulb, I think your 92 takes three bulbs.You will have to take the top off the dash, that's the only way, and remove the instrument cluster to get to the bulbs.
