It was bought as used from a Saab dealer and service by them until they closed. The last service was done 10k miles ago, by an "Independant specialist". They did all his repairs too. I wonder if he complained about loss of power, or a strange owl type noise, and the cheap fix they offered was to remove the faulty valve from the equation.
