Had to buy a parts car for it, of course. Bought a '68 96...a '71 95 that had been junked...traded the '68 96 for a '62 96...drove to various parts of the country (up to 2000 miles from home) to pick up various 95's and 96's...parted out the Sonett parts car, got another one...'62 96 broke in half (well, the floor did, the roof held it together but the brake line got severed...exciting...)...bought a '65 96 Special and a '72 95... an '88 900T came, and 247,000 miles later, went. The 9-5 is fantastic. So, currently, my "collection" is a '63 96 undergoing restoration, a '64 96 parts car, a '65 96 "Special" (red engine, disk brakes, but standard interior and trim), a '71 97, a '72 95, and the '99 9-5. Um. And a '73 Sonett parts car. The '60 93f is probably a parts car for a future 93. I think that's it. No, I'd say Saabism isn't a disease. At least it gives my barn something to store, and my insurance agent always wants to see whichever of the classic ones I'm putting onto the insurance in the summers. Dave "Never had a NG900 or a 9000, though. Or a 92 (yet)." Hinz
