Carl, see the "use fossil or synthetic oil?" thread. I personally would not switch a car that's been running mineral for any length of time to synth. I've had and witnessed too many bad oil leaks as a result. My Saabs get 15W40 mineral oil every 6k without fail, and seem to like it. However, some people do get away with it (like Paul ;-) -- Grunff
