I used to post out there frequently and answer lots of questions. I did _at least_ 10% of the helpful postings to the NG900 group. One day I made a comment that I guess would fall into the "comments on how the site works". It was not "negative"... just a comment. The next day I tried to post and I found that I was banned and could not post. Honestly, I did not even connect the two events since my "irregular" post was so minor. (Anyone who wants the details, please ask). I contacted the owner/dictator to see why I could not post. I thought it was a problem with the saabnet site i.e. no one could post at that point. Imagine my shock when I was told I had been "banned". I carried on a short 3 email conversation with the dictator wherein I started out nicely explaining why I should not be banned. By the third email, I'd had it with his nonsensical attitude and I told him in very clear terms what I thought of his unwarranted actions. The next day, every post I'd ever made to Saabnet (think in terms of hundreds, maybe a thousand) had been removed. Some of the NG900 regulars were a little upset... the dictator had no comment. I haven't been back and I don't ever plan to go back, despite the ease with which a knowledgeable fellow like myself could bypass the "ban" issue. Bob
