I tried to explain to some folks one day why it took some actual training - self or instructor based - to drive a Saab turbo. Lets face it, if the typical driver does the typical thing trying to pull out across a line of traffic when he's driving a Saab, he's either going to get hit because he won't cross the on coming lane fast enough, or he's going to hit something when the turbo kicks in and the front end breaks loose. Well, perhaps I've exaggerated a little... he might not get into an accident but you know what I'm saying. The Saab will barely move at first, then it will catch up with his over throttle and take off. With a little practice, you can take off fast and learn to back off before you get into trouble. Bob
