I have a reproduction Saab keyring. I lost my keys once at a site which I regularly visit for work. The keys were found and a lady exclaimed "ooh, someone's got a Saab". I chirped up that it was mine and when I explained that it was a "classic Saab", the keys were handed back. I'm glad my car is not a P-extension and a psychologist friend explained that my Saab (speaking of the older '85 900i) demonstrates a self-assured, if not stubborn sense that I am prepared to have what I like, despite the projected image. On the other hand, my passion for bright yellow hot-hatches shows quite a different side :) Perhaps last Valentine's I should've flicked out my Saab keyring infront of my wife, made out it's a new 9-5 and pissed down her leg.
