Grunff reckoned this was normal, because of the breather > that routes into the pre intake breather hose. That makes sense. It was that hose kept popping off before the "incident". In fact, it was the entire PCV T-piece that used to blow out of the cam cover. I got the grommet replaced ... then it was the larger hose that blew out of the air filter to turbo pipe.
