On my 1985 900S, I had the pull the seat cover off inside out as far as it could go. Then, with the headrest fully extended and the seat cover as far up as it could go, there is a screw (torx head) that is located in the center of the back of the seat. The screw is located in a slit in a piece of foam. You will have to look hard to find it. Remove this screw and then the headrest will come out. Hope this helps on your model.
