If you have a look at nospam, there's a picture of mine. > http://www.nospam/gallery/rodorr/gallery.html > Cheers, > Rodney > She's a real peach brother Rod - in real nice looking shape too.. Congrats.. I'm at 310,000 with mine - but the problems I (and two previous owners) had were mysterious rather than a lot or expensive as it turned out - well for me - not the previos owners.. Which I suppose is the problem with old gen 9000T SAABs.. Sorry no picture of my SAAB just yet - here's my 1979 motorhome.. Front wheel drive 403 Olds Bird motor.. Gets 13 miles to the gallon on the highway (which is pretty good for 10,000 pds and 26 feet of 9 foot high motorhome) and goes like a scalded cat too.. http://www.dexterdyne.com/112.HTM I'm thinking long and hard about doing the body work, harvesting a clean interior and painting my 1989 CD now.. Maybe even adding a few gentle super car touches to doll her up a bit.. That neat anniversary yellow they did is really appealing.. I want to pull out the motor anyway and replace the hoses, seals and do the gaskets and chain and anything else that's easier to do with the motor out - rad(s) for example - so if I had it painted (it's now blue) it would look right with the hood up.. On the other hand - I know there has got to be a $500 dollar 1991/2 out there somewhere with a completely pooched power train but nice body and interior.. and I don't have the hatch in a CD.. It's a weird place to be - great and reliable engine, turbo, tranny and avionics - body just starting to need attention - interior crappy.. But it's all there and thus I'm not sure what to do.. I started a couple of threads here which didn't get any action - but I figured I could help this chap out with his first purchase.. Current best guess by the team here is to just run mine out until the seat drops through the floor and pay attention to the classifieds.. -- J Dexter - webmaster - http://www.dexterdyne.org/ all tunes - no cookies no subscription no weather no ads no news no phone in - Real Audio 8+ Required - all the Time Radio Free Dexterdyne Top Tune o'be-do-da-day June Christy - Shoo Fly Pie and Apple Pan Dowdy http://www.dexterdyne.org/888/105.RAM
