Still I can manage without controls for a little longer. Last night I was down at the weekly monday meeting of the local cruise club (I'm a member). I was there admiring some of the cars that are there, the Imprezas, Evos, couple of Supras and RX7s,a couple of 200SX turbos and a Very nice Purgoet 205 Turbo, and a Gold G60 that has to have the most chrome in one engine bay that I have ever seen. Normally I'm the only Saab except when one of the other guys has his MK1 Golf GTi off the having work done, when he turns up in his 900 Tjugofem (which he snatched for £100), when what goes cruising by but a very tasty Saab 9000 Aero R reg, in green, tidy 5 spoke alloys, full cream leather interior, and he reckons a full abbott tuned lump. He didn't know too much about the car as it is his fleet vehicle. He works for Saab northwest, and recently they bought the car in on a partex for a 9- 5 HOT. It was assigned as his company car instead of getting sold on. Loverly condition, not a mark on it, and such a shine I've never seen on an R reg of any brand. Had a good chat, and pointed to Saab Scene and Saabcentral.
