Sounds good so far. > Clutch pedal motion is good - but needs to go nearly to the > floor to disengage - is this normal? No, it's not normal. Could be one of a number of things, including air in the clutch hydraulics, a worn pedal linkage, and several others. Not a big deal, but I'd want to fix it. > There are a few things wrong like the cam-cover leaks, the > heater controls don't work properly, drivers electric window > doesn't work, drivers seat doesn't move, but these things will > be fixed if/before I buy. The mileage itself isn't an issue, but it sounds like the car's been neglected. In that condition, they normally go for £200-£300. If you want a 900, you can do a lot better for the money if you shop around. For around £1000, I'd expect nearly full history, and no broken bits (heater control, window etc.). > Also, as I stated, its an lpt - can this be upgraded to fpt with > APC etcetera - and what would be involved? It isn't worth it - if you want a FPT, buy a FPT. LPTs are fine, and make for a more relaxed drive. But they aren't as fast. -- Grunff
