Is it an easy job to replace, or best entrusted to my > garage? check if the car bucks really bad when you change gears under hard acceleration, or put the car in first, lock the handbrake and push-pop the clutch quickly and watch the gearstick if it moves really much, your engine mounts may be bad. that can be also indicated by a clunking noise while changing gear. the engine mounts are round rubble bushings about 4 cm in diameter. you have two of the on the top of the engine, they are connect with a rod (torque rod?), if they are ripped badly or rubber parts are missing, they are shot. there are more but they are hard to see. take a look at http://www.quasimotors.com/mountinfo.htm bye simon
