I have had success using this method, but not all the time. Sometimes the only way is to replace the caliper. It's worth a try though. Remove the pads and unbolt the caliper from the hub carrier (don't disconnect the hydraulics). Get someone to pump the pedal gently forcing the piston out. Retract the piston. Repeat. Refit the caliper. If it's worked, great. If not, time for a new caliper. > Also, even though the car has been driving really nicely, including > going to the MOT station, when they had taken it off the ramps, and I > had paid, I went to press in the clutch and it wouldn't move. Sounds very odd, and I really can't think of anything which would first cause those symptoms, then go away all on it's own!! -- Grunff
