Subject: Re: An extended invitation to Saab enthusiasts

We would like to thank those of you that responded with positive input. We never mean any harm to anyone by posting items in the newsgroups that we feel are "on topic". I can see if someone posts an offer for "free travel discounts" or some other items that have no relative value to a Saab owner. Saab owners, in our opinion, are a unique group in a marketing approach because their numbers tend to be smaller than our VW enthusiasts, but no less loyal and enthusiastic about their cars. We felt that the newsgroup was a good place to spread the word about our swap meet. We were contacted by individuals of THIS newsgroup asking us if we could open our swap meet up to all European cars. This is what prompted the posting. If our approach offended or bothered some, we apologize. Our company is spending tens of thousands of dollars to plan, promote and produce a quality event, the kind of event thousands have been asking for. If our show is not to your liking we are sorry, but as always you are not required to attend. We always welcome positive feedback that can improve our website and our events. We are human and we do make mistakes. Thank you and we wish the best to all Saab owners and enthusiasts everywhere. This will be our last posting to this newsgroup.
