I'll have another go this weekend if the weather picks up. I had the splash guard off the check the bulb, but didn't notice any fasteners for the lower bumper. It's a Talladega coupÈ if it makes any difference. All this hassle to take a piece of emery to a corroded contact! You're not kidding about the Haynes manual. Either I'm getting old, or they're not as good as they used to be. Cars are getting more complex, yet the manuals are thinner.
