I think it's fine. It's us Saabers who like a handy reference name for the different generations of cars. Although, I think Saab actually made it more confusing when they made the NG900 a 9-3 and it was really just an update. Over in the Toyota world, they don't draw distinctions with anything other than years but they still have the issue, they just don't realize it. So, they always have to distinguish by year and have no easy way to refer to the "groups". Over in the Nissan world, the Nissan Maxima is referred to by "generation n" by the user groups every time the factory does a major revision. They are up to Generation 6. Bob
