Quite, and I've heard that the car is already quite hard with standard suspension, so he must have had a reason for choosing the sports option. Some cars are hard to the extreme e.g. Subaru WRX, but it does give improved control. Perhaps he can get used to it. Fiddling tyre pressures is not really an option.
