Subject: Re: Remove Radio/Informant in new 2003 9-3

I had problems with the CD player in my new 2003 9-3 last January which required changing the unit. I brought in to my dealership and I was there when the mechanic took it out. He used two flat metal plates which he inserted inside two holes next to the radio. If your unit is anything like mine, you will have to go the your dealer to have it removed. There are no screws involved. I had never seen those metal plates before but I presume its the only way to remove the CD.
