Why not get a genuine Saab fuel cab from a spare department, they are not that expensive. I've done the same as I once lost the original cap. I bought a cheap replacement at a petrol station, but the dealer didn't accept the issue for MOT and supplied a new original fuel cap. I agreed since I didn't like the aftermarket replacement anyway.
