The situation, speaking in broad terms, sucks. For long years Poland was a safe haven for old cars and rebuilt wrecks. To stop this the government placed a special tax on imported used cars. It's 5% in case of 2-3 year old ones and 65% for 10+ years old. Plus 22% VAT. That effectively doubles the price of an imported c900. At the same time the cars that are already in Poland are usually in bad shape and T16s are rare, not to mention Aeros. So he is quite confident asking much for his T16, and I would pay gladly if the car was without problems. -- Regards, Wojciech Setlak
