Tom, Must be the country you're in.... In the Netherlands a manual transmission is more or less 'standard' and an automatic a - more expensive - option.... I am awaiting a 9-3 SS myself since mid februari (hope to get it in April) and would also appreciate any available info/experience since a lot of 'test drive reports' available on the internet seem more or less biased. A have a lot more confidence in reports from experienced Saab drivers. It also seems a 'Linear' for the american market is a lot different from a ' Linear' for the Dutch market. We have a 150 hp (named 1,8 lpt but in fact a 2,0 lpt) and a 175 hp (2,0t) version. A Dutch Linear has no leather upholstery but woven cloth instead and there are more differences. My dealer is also an authorised Saab repair specialist with about 40 years of experience so I just have to assume he knows his business. Succes with deciding what to do, it took me a while too Regards, Tom "tom" <navillusmotnopsamo.com> schreef in bericht news:20030326074516729-0700nopsamews.attbi.com... > > I'm probably going to order a new 9-3 Linear in the next couple of days, > and > I have a few questions? > > Has anyone has problems with this new model 9-3?
