Merci guys for answering. However, are you sure its an air bubble in the heater core? The reason I ask is that (do not laugh) my dad was hitting something, then putting some kind of oil on it (will not tell me what) and the fan would blow for a few days. Some points I should outline might be of an issue (I know computer hardware but nothing about autos) 1) I would hear a cranking noise just before it would die. It was actually a funny noise and gave me a good laugh as I knew the impending death was on its way for the fan. 2)The problem started last summer. The fan will not blow anything so when I was idle I would almost pass out from the heat. OK I did pass out once from being over heated in late August, but I pulled over just in time. Traffic jams in Boston during the summer are not any fun. 3) I know the heater is working and so is the air conditioner because when I am driving the temperature is fine. I drove with two blankets all winter but the summer is on its way so I know it has to get fixed. The car is fantastic and sentimental to me because my dad drove it first. However he went back to his Audis, traitor (giggle). Does anyone know a good place to take the car in Boston? Hey the guys at work were right they said you guys would be able and willing to help me. Have a great day.
