If it's the slave, there will be fluid dripping from the bottom of the bell housing. Crawl under and take a look. It is *very* common for one of the cylinders to go shortly following the replacement of the other. Presumably the price is a labour-only (parts are extra). It's about right, based on ?40-?50 ph. Get the crank seal replaced at the same time. Very little added cost, and a really good idea to do it while the gearbox is off. -- Grunff
