The 2.5L V6 in the NG900/9-3(9400) is not the same engine as the 3.0L V6 in the 9-5. It is not even from the same part of GM. The german 2.5L V6 had lots of problems, but the brittish 3.0L V6 (with Saab redesigs) hasn't had that many problems.
